Crafted from Challenge Sailcloth’s Ultra TNT fabric, known for its exceptional strength and wind resistance, the ArcDome Ultra is designed to perform in challenging weather conditions. 

This tent features a double-wall design for enhanced insulation, dual doors, and dual vestibules for convenient access and extra storage. It accommodates two long, wide sleeping pads (up to 63.5 cm wide each) and has large, adjustable high vents to reduce condensation. The fly doors can roll fully back, allowing for stargazing or increased ventilation in milder conditions. With a fly-first setup and tensioned arch sleeves, the ArcDome Ultra ensures the interior stays dry even in the harshest weather. 

The ArcDome Ultra weighs 1.639 grams with the solid interior, carbon poles, stakes, and storage bags, making it a lightweight option for a four-season tent. For users seeking to reduce weight, ditching the stakes and bags drops the overall weight to 1.512 grams. The tent’s 15 cm tall bathtub floor offers extra protection against rain and ground moisture. With four large interior pockets and clips for organizing gear, it provides plenty of storage options inside the tent. The freestanding pole system ensures a secure pitch without the need for vestibule stakes, making setup easier in varied terrain.

Constructed using fully bonded techniques, the ArcDome Ultra is designed to withstand extreme weather conditions and deliver superior performance. The tent is produced in a specialized facility with advanced hot bonded and taped construction methods and is rigorously tested at Tarptent's headquarters in Nevada City, California. Why is this tent so heavy? 
The ArcDome Ultra is designed as 4-season tent and consequently uses stronger, more durable, and therefore heavier materials. 
Although this tent is still lighter than many other 3-season options, we recommend our other, significantly lighter 3 and 3+ season tents for those who don't mainly intend to use them in winter or alpine conditions.
